On December 11, the opening ceremony of the Viettel (Lang Son) Logistics Park was held in Phu Sha Village, Cao Loc District, Lang Son Province. This park is the largest and most modern logistics park in Vietnam.
The management and operation unit of the Viettel (Lang Son) Logistics Park, Viettel Post Joint Stock Company, stated that the construction of the park aims to provide a sustainable workspace with professional and standardized design, incorporating renewable energy systems and a circular economy model. The park operates efficiently and environmentally friendly, creating a green and friendly logistics ecosystem.
In the future, it will become Vietnam’s first logistics center, offering comprehensive import and export logistics services, including customs clearance, inspection and quarantine, transshipment, warehousing, transportation, and cross-border transport. By applying smart transportation management equipment, artificial intelligence technologies, and more, the park will optimize logistics operations and help enterprises save approximately 40% in logistics costs.
Chairman of the Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee, Hu Jinshao, stated that the Viettel (Lang Son) Logistics Park will become an important lever to promote the province’s import and export trade, optimize logistics efficiency, alleviate congestion at some ports, and shorten cargo clearance times.
Once operational, the Viettel (Lang Son) Logistics Park will provide strong support for Lang Son Province to become an important trade hub between ASEAN and China, making Vietnam a strategic logistics center in Southeast Asia. Major General Cao Desheng, General Manager of Viettel Military Telecom Group, emphasized that this project is a key initiative in Viettel Group’s national logistics infrastructure construction strategy, integrating new technologies to optimize time and costs, and applying green logistics innovations.
In the future, Viettel will establish a nationwide logistics center network to serve key economic zones, creating smart ports, agricultural product logistics centers, industrial park logistics centers, supply chain infrastructure, and intermodal networks, forming an intelligent, automated, and multimodal logistics ecosystem. This will make Vietnam an important logistics center in the region, implementing the spirit of the 13th Resolution by the Communist Party of Vietnam on enhancing the role of logistics infrastructure in connecting and improving economic efficiency.
The total investment in the Viettel (Lang Son) Logistics Park is nearly 33 trillion VND, covering an area of more than 143 hectares. The park will be built as an inland port, with full functions for customs clearance, import and export, agricultural product preservation, and a Vietnam Agricultural Product Trading Center, handling customs clearance for 1,500 vehicles daily.
