With just a small button on the server system, remote smart management of container operations can be achieved. Through the integration of cutting-edge product technology and networking of containers, remote visualization of container inbound and outbound, location, and status information has been realized.

Nguyen Quang Tung, Deputy Director of the Binh Duong Integrated Port Business Department, said, “In the past two years, the Binh Duong Integrated Port has applied smart port management software to its management work, greatly improving the overall operating efficiency of the port, simplifying operational processes, and helping enterprises save operating and labor costs.”

According to the proposal for the “Sustainable Development of Vietnam’s Logistics System by 2023, with a Vision to 2050,” Binh Duong Province strives to develop into a logistics center in the southeast. To achieve this goal, the province will focus on establishing new logistics centers and modern land ports that meet international standards.

Tao Wei Ba, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Customs Supervision and Administration Bureau, said, “In recent years, we have taken multiple measures to support the business activities of logistics enterprises. For example, we have established customs offices at international intermodal stations in Beijiang Province and Shenlang Railway Station in Binh Duong Province to timely handle relevant customs clearance procedures for enterprises and help them reduce expenses.”

Developing green logistics is the general trend, and it is also an important indicator for evaluating the sustainability of the logistics industry. In fact, recently, the Vietnamese government has issued several documents related to the “green transformation” for various transportation forms such as land, sea, railway, air, and inland waterways, providing impetus for logistics enterprises to achieve green transformation.
